Hershey Big Kiss

Tuck Box + POP Display

Creating the Mold

In order to create a fake Big Kiss to go inside each tuck box, first I would need to create a form to mold tin foil around. I designed the Big Kiss form in Rhino, sized it to scale so that it would fit perfectly inside a tuck box, and 3D-printed one maquette to create multiple tin foil molds with.

Hershey Big Kiss is a packaging and branding concept that gives a distinct name and look to large Hershey Kisses, which currently lack a name outside of the Hershey Kiss brand. Each tuck box contains a fake Hershey’s Big Kiss, made from tinfoil molded around a 3D‑printed Kiss.

Branding Big Kiss

A unique color scheme and pattern was assigned to each tuck box, some of which were taken directly from existing Hershey Kiss packaging. The POP display was designed to complement and draw attention to the tuck boxes themselves while also ensuring customers have easy access to all the information they need to know.

These particular package designs were themed around Christmas, so each tuck box included a festive bow to resemble a present, as well as a name tag on the top to encourage buyers to give Big Kisses as holiday gifts.
